Paul Paradis
Founder & CEO
Paul has spent the last 33 years sculpting the San Francisco and Oakland skylines with some of their most iconic development projects. Before founding Bayhill Ventures, he was Senior Managing Director for Hines, responsible for the development, acquisition, and marketing of commercial projects in the Western United States.
A few of his most notable development projects, all in San Francisco, include: Salesforce Tower, a 1.5 million-square-foot 61-story office building; the JP Morgan Chase Building, a 700,000-square-foot office building; 33 Tehama, a 35-story 403-unit multifamily building. Over his career, Paul has contributed to the development, acquisition, and disposition of more than 20 million square feet of commercial real estate. A LEED-Accredited Professional, Mr. Paradis advocates for thoughtful and sustainable design on his developments.​
Paul earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard College in 1986 and serves on the UCSF Real Estate Advisory Board, Sugar Bowl Corporation board of directors, and the Transportation Management of Association of San Francisco (emeritus.)
Eugenia Huang
Director
Eugenia is a Director at Bayhill Ventures, where she focuses on acquisitions, development and capital raising. She previously worked as an Associate at Hines, where she was responsible for the underwriting and project management activities of the $3B redevelopment of PG&E’s former HQ in San Francisco.
Prior to her tenure at Hines, Eugenia was an Associate at Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, a European commercial owner, developer and operator specialized in retail assets. In this role, she conducted an in-depth evaluation of the US commercial portfolio that resulted in a priority list of retail-to-mixed-use developments based on market fundamentals and capital allocation priorities. Additionally, she built financial models and assisted in the selection of A&E team members, brokers, and co-developers for these development projects.
Eugenia earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern California. She is an active member of ULI-YLG and serves as chair-emeritus of USC Alumni Real Estate Network.
Jack McLaughlin
Project Associate
Jack is a Project Associate at Bayhill Ventures, where he focuses on project management and project underwriting. He previously worked as a Summer Analyst on the investments team at Oxford Properties Group, where he gained experience in a variety of acquisition, development and credit deals across the US.
Prior to his time at Oxford, Jack spent over a year as an Analyst at Real Estate Financial Modeling, a consulting company that specializes in financial modeling for real estate transactions. In this role, he built and customized financial models for several notable clients, including Hines, CBRE Global Investments, and the Rockefeller Group. He also created modeling training content for the company’s certification course, Real Estate Finance and Investments, which is used by firms such as Blackstone and Related.
Jack’s interest in real estate stems from his experience founding a family-run vacation rental business based in Anchorage, Alaska, which continues to operate today.
Jack earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard College in 2023.
Rob Hollister
Investor & Advisor
Rob served as President of The Sobrato Organization for nine years, overseeing the company’s real estate strategy and activities including 15 million square feet of properties and a development pipeline of more than $2 billion.
Before TSO, Rob was Senior Managing Director and Country Head for China and Australia and previously for the Pacific Northwest for Hines. In his 17 years at Hines, Rob contributed to the development, acquisition and disposition of more than 14 million SF of commercial, retail and residential real estate.
Rob earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Dartmouth College and his M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He sits on the boards for Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco and MidPen Housing, and is a member of the Stanford Real Estate Council.

Merredith Treaster
COO
Drawing from over twenty years of real estate investment experience, Merredith currently serves as fractional COO to Bayhill Ventures, where she helps streamline operations and drive strategic growth initiatives. She also serves as President of Whitney James, a boutique real estate investment consulting firm providing specialized advisory services across the investment lifecycle. Her dual leadership roles leverage her extensive background in commercial real estate investments, asset and risk management, capital markets, and development oversight across various property sectors.
Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President of Portfolio Management at EQ Office, overseeing Blackstone’s Northern California office portfolio. Previously, as Managing Director at Nuveen, she first led as the Northwest Regional Investment Head, where she asset-managed a $3.3 billion portfolio that consistently delivered returns above NCREIF market benchmarks and executed 4.1 million square feet of acquisitions and dispositions, before becoming fund manager of Nuveen’s U.S. Strategic Lab Vehicle.
Throughout her career, she has contributed to over $6.5 billion in real estate transactions, entitlements, and portfolio, asset, and project management assignments nationally. Her notable skyscraper developments include Salesforce Tower (San Francisco’s tallest building) and Park Tower, both located in San Francisco. Merredith holds a B.S. in Neuroscience from UCLA, a California Real Estate Broker’s License, and serves as a member of the San Francisco Foundation Investment Committee.
Conor Harrity
Director
Conor is a Director at Bayhill Ventures, responsible for identifying and executing investment opportunities across the firm’s acquisition and development strategies. His work spans deal sourcing, underwriting, and project management activities.
Prior to joining Bayhill, Conor was a Senior Analyst at Hines in San Francisco, where he was responsible for underwriting and project management activities for more than 2 million square feet of office and multifamily developments. He played a key role in advancing large-scale urban projects from initial feasibility through entitlement.
Conor also worked at Fifth Wall as Summer Associate, where he developed thematic investment research and supported deal execution related to real estate technology and climate risk.
He holds an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BA in Economics from Harvard University. He is also a former member of the U.S. Olympic Rowing Team, having competed at the 2020 Tokyo Games.
